HEALTH UNIT

The organization plans to venture into the field of health care. Incidence of eye and  skin diseases and child mortality are high in the area. A health unit to cater for the treatment of eyes, skin patients and mother & child care is being planned. Subsequently, this project will be upgraded into a small hospital for undertaking cataract and other minor operations as well as handle all types of delivery cases, including the care of newborns. 

The designs of the project have been approved. Construction will commence in June 2007. It is likely to cost approximately rupees 10 million to construct and another about 30 million to equip with the necessary medical equipment.
